Words Express Too Much
Well, my mother's day card is done and in the mail. Not as neat and clean as I would have liked, but the materials I needed weren't available. I'm pretty sure I could have improvised better. Meh. I know she'll love it, past few holidays I've just been sending Hallmarks, and I know she likes my own artistic view a lot better than someone elses. I have the luxury of time to do that now. Retail beats all the desire to be creative out of a body I swear.
I used the automated post office thingie, I've never seen such a fangled stamp in my life. It printed letters in tiny text and a 1"x1" square of computer binary gobbelty gook. The receipt says Mom should get it by Friday. With that weird stamp, I'll believe it when she says she got it. If so, I'm not using anything else from now on.

I've wanted one of these so badly for two+ years. I need to do something to earn one... One job isn't enough to pay for the bills and a tablet that is roughly half the cost of my rent.
Logitech MX100
This is the cheapest I've seen this mouse though. Wow. My husband has one and it's nifty neatso cool. And when I clean out my computer, it would be nice to have some thumbscrews instead to take off my casing.
Basically my birthday is coming up in two months and I know how much money I'll be sent to blow on whatever I would normally not be able to get for myself. Trying to plan it out the best I can now so I can make a wise decision, as opposed to impulse and regret it later.
Like wanting cherry lotion and body wash from Bath and Bodyworks when I don't even know what it smells like. I bet it smells good though, and I'm out of my winter candy apple wash.
Luckily the rest of the family is supposed to get gift cirtificates from places like Linens n Things or Bed Bath & Beyond. We need stuff in the kitchen. If it totals up to enough from the family, we are thinking about getting a food processor or some pots and a wok if the processor doesn't work out. This looks like what we want.
I have my eye on these rasps though... to use on this. I like soapstone carving, and I wouldn't mind picking it up in times when our computers aren't options to spend time.
Hangers would be good too. And Crab wontons. mmm.
